During our travels in America, we found our selves in the place that we don’t have the ability the use our phones on the network, even within the hotels we had restricted connection.
I have the habit of listening to podcasts and to YouTube lectures because I like the fact that people tell me profound content information instead of slight highlights. Because I am a dyslectic, I prefer people sharing their knowledge in different ways than in text.
Backpacking through the country was amazing, but I missed my time to educate myself with well-thought words, the goal was to pack as light as possible and therefore we decided to not take any computers or books with us. One morning at the pool I stumbled on audible, audiobooks for a subscription of 10 euros a month allowing you to buy a book for free! Ever since I am truly hooked. Try it for free for one month by clicking on this link!
The title nurturing the talent is chosen because of the book I am actually reading Creativity, INC. Written by Ed Catmull, the president of Pixar Animation and Disney Animation.
The book talks about the failures and winnings they encountered during their lives as being creatives, Pixar and Disney, the thing that inspires me the most so far is the book feels so openly written, they are not scared to be this honest about the inside of the business.
The unforeseen winnings and the problems that are created along with that. I think this book is definitely an inspiration to read for everyone who has or wants to start a business and the creatives to learn to give themselves some slack when things do go wrong and realise it might be right for something else in the bigger picture.
Even when I didn’t finish it yet, and I already decide I am going to relisten to it again, I hope it motivates you to pick up this book and to let you be inspired.
