Photography workshop – Search the diamant (14-15y)

I created this workshop after a piece of art I have seen in Marres, Maastricht.
I asked the kids, to search for the tiniest diamond and no body knows where it was. I have set up some boarders within the schoolyard and asked them to photograph the things they have found and where they have looked. During this workship, we have discoverd materials, perspectives, and to document by photograhpy. Some of the kids even made photoediting a part of it. On the end of the workshop we talked about the goldrush they felt, when I made the announcement and how this reflects as well in daily life, and how to transform it and use it conciously.

J’ai créé cet atelier après une œuvre d’art que j’ai vue à Marres, Maastricht.
J’ai demandé aux enfants de rechercher le plus petit diamant et personne ne sait où il se trouvait. J’ai installé des pensionnaires dans la cour de l’école et je leur ai demandé de photographier les choses qu’ils ont trouvées et où ils ont regardé. Au cours de ce stage, nous avons découvert des matières, des perspectives, et à documenter par la photographie. Certains enfants ont même intégré la retouche photo. À la fin de l’atelier, nous avons parlé de la ruée vers l’or qu’ils ont ressentie, lorsque j’ai fait l’annonce et comment cela se reflète également dans la vie quotidienne, et comment le transformer et l’utiliser consciencieusement.

Ik heb deze workshop gemaakt naar een kunstwerk dat ik heb gezien in Marres, Maastricht.
Ik vroeg de kinderen om naar de kleinste diamant te zoeken en niemand weet waar die was. Ik heb een aantal internen op het schoolplein geplaatst en gevraagd om de dingen die ze hebben gevonden en waar ze hebben gekeken te fotograferen. Tijdens dit werkschip hebben we materialen ontdekt, perspectieven en te documenteren door middel van fotografie. Sommige kinderen maakten er zelfs fotobewerking van. Aan het einde van de workshop spraken we over de goudkoorts die ze voelden toen ik de aankondiging deed en hoe dit ook in het dagelijks leven weerspiegelt, en hoe het te transformeren en gewetensvol te gebruiken.
