Adults and kids

For many years, I have organized my own activities in the form of creative workshops with children and adults. I invite you to go behind the scenes of my workshops.

The workshops that I offer have turned into real living art sessions. I developed these collective creations guided by the idea that art is a means, a game, and not an end. I have always used the techniques of “pretty drawing” when explaining the basis of creation. For me, as an artist, it is important to impart the knowledge of how to create a visual.

On the other hand, it is the participants who are the masters of their creation; they are very intuitive and instinctive: it is this natural faculty to create that inspired me for this practice. The notions of “well done” or “badly done” do not exist in my workshops. An unfulfilled instruction, a spilt paint can, even and “especially” an unintentional stain can give a surprising result.

Remember, “creative energy”
is always stronger than control.

The collective energy and group dynamics are a result in themselves. The idea is to open up a space of freedom, to get carried away by a collective improvisation to authorize the accident; from overflow. In a workshop with many participants, each kind of each adult, carried by the energy of the group, will outdo themselves to achieve and share a unique moment, while striving to produce interesting work.

During this experience, the goal is to encourage, stimulate, create and retain in order to give participants the satisfaction of achieving an unexpected creation. My participation in all of this is to be the choreographer, to know when to stop participants at the right time, to avoid the mixing that blurs the forces and the colors. To do this, I go through the works in progress, help identify an empty area, relieve an overloaded work, help participants achieve balance.

There is no age limit of special skills to participate. Each workshop is compatible and adapted to the groups of participants and the location. They are always original and always give different results.

Wendy Nouse

Teacher

Wendy Nouse is a contemporary artist based in the Paris region (Melun), who mainly creates ecologically-based artworks. Her work invites you to join and be part of the room.

Because she feels her work should be part of the society, she also conducts workshops for children and adults and makes products for her print shop. She also creates images for local entrepreneurs and individuals.

Practical information

It offers various workshops such as drawing and calligraphy, painting, watercolor, collage, visual arts (ceramics)

In my lessons, you learn the basics (technique) and the awakening of creativity in different subjects. For example,

realism, impressionism and contemporary art. The motive is that you learn to create your own work of art.
