Doormiddel van een performance die ik heb uitgevoerd heb ik verschillende rotsachtige stenen ontwikkeld die ik heb laten vormen door ze ritmisch te laten vallen, tot het moment dat ik voelde ze genoeg gevormd waren. Vervolgens heb ik ze met glazuur bedekt. Tijdens een video opname heb ik ze kapot geslagen.
Voor mij de stenen gaven aan de vervorming en de vervreemding van het zelf zijn. Ondanks al het bewust gemanipuleerde zijn ze nog steeds individueel en niet de vergelijken. Ik heb snedes in het gebakken ceramiek gemaakt waardoor ze op een bepaalde manier zouden breken.
Vervolgens zijn deze onderdelen gaan mee spelen in de opzet van de presentatie auto-da-fé.

Through a performance I performed, I developed several rocky stones that I formed by dropping them rhythmically, until the moment I felt they were formed enough. Then I covered them with icing. During a video recording I smashed them.
For me the stones gave to the distortion and alienation of the self. Despite all the deliberate manipulation, they are still individual and not the comparison. I made cuts in the fired ceramic that would break them in some way.
Subsequently, these components played a role in the design of the auto-da-fé presentation.

A travers une performance que j’ai réalisée, j’ai développé plusieurs pierres rocheuses que j’ai formées en les laissant tomber rythmiquement, jusqu’au moment où j’ai senti qu’elles étaient suffisamment formées. Puis je les ai recouverts de glaçage. Lors d’un enregistrement vidéo, je les ai écrasés.
Pour moi, les pierres ont donné à la distorsion et à l’aliénation de soi. Malgré tous les manipulés consciemment, ils sont toujours individuels et non la comparaison. J’ai fait des coupes dans la céramique cuite qui les briseraient d’une certaine manière.
Par la suite, ces composants ont joué un rôle dans la conception de la présentation auto-da-fé.
