The first room titled Maria – Presented an installation, that resembled a cocoon-inspired on the windows of the church, supported by a sound piece that was the proof of my personal prayers during this residency, to any person that is called Maria. This is recorded in my dialect, that resembles my inner voice and refers to the local importance of our faith in the holy mother.
The second room titled: Left this page intentionally blank – Gives the feeling of diving into a cave of darkness only existing of information, having one flashlight to tunnel vision one particular part, refers to the suffocating feeling of propaganda and how we are able to deal with it.
Destination Unknown is a young artist organization that gives a platform to just graduated artists. Using only locations that are about to be destroyed in the middle of neighbourhoods and communities. They focus on reaching a visitor that is normally not confronted in this sense of art and raises awareness by doing this. In collaboration with MaastrichtLab. The organized a successful participation of the local community.
